Instead, what she found was even more destructive. Facing rock bottom she managed to dig herself out by attending church, a place that offered her a chance for healing.
Now her mission is to find other people that were lost just like her and help guide them away from the destructive path into one of love, dignity, and self-respect.
Episode 26 - Klyn Elsbury
In this episode, Klyn Elsbury talks about her lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. She explains the hardships of being the outcast in school due to her absence in the classroom which, was a direct cause of continuous hospitalizations.
However, the undying support and love her family gave her inspired her to be as active as possible in order for her illness not to paralyze her lungs. Unfortunately, her warrior spirit came to a halt when she turned 19, after she dropped out of college she began to support herself, and then lost it all as a cause of bad habits. Left with no other option Klyn moved out to San Diego to face numerous years of hardship, poverty, and worst of all, being classified as legally disabled.
That is until a miracle happened, that changed the trajectory of her life for the better. Her lifelong journey of seeking a cure to her illness is genuinely inspirational and outright uncommon. She is now the author of a book called, “I am the untold story of success” which dives deep into her journey with cystic fibrosis and how she overcame complications that made life extremely difficult to navigate.

In this episode, Greg Banner, a financial planner and pilot photographer, shares the wonders that he's experienced in his life through the art of photography and how it led to him working with the NFL and Padres. In college, Greg had experience as a pilot photographer and then became the photo editor for his college yearbook. This then led him to work as a photographer for a sports magazine and got him into working with sports teams and legends.

In this episode, Jacques Cesaire, former NFL player for the San Diego Chargers and Defensive Line Coach for Houston, opens up about his life story of growing up living all over the east coast. His parents were immigrants from Haiti and didn't know the first thing about sports so they pushed education on their children. Jacques got into sports and with the help of his brother's encouragement, strived to succeed in football. After college, he signed for the San Diego Chargers and played for 9 years. Jacques is now a defensive line coach for the Houston Texans.
