Brian Tinney was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He explains how he didn't have a close relationship with his parents and how he has always been on his own. He says he was sort of a loner while also having psychopathic or sociopathic tendencies. He never had remorse for anything he did, such as stealing and exploiting relationships.

The turning point in his life was when he stumbled upon a book in prison he read which changed his ways of thinking. He wanted to believe that there was a chance he could live a life that didn't look like this. Brian describes this dramatic and transformative encounter and says how he was set free.
